Very Professional and always willing to go the extra mile to help out a client. I have used them twice. Once to install new carpet and this past July to refinish some hardwood stairs. They are considerate of your time, their product is top quality and their price is fair. I will use them again when needed.

Very Professional

I had a great experience with Floors Etcetera. They refinished my floors, and they did an excellent job—double excellent. I'd recommend them to anybody. It was A-quality work.

Great Experience

I had an absolutely positive experience with them. I would say Floors Etcetera is A+. I've already recommended them.

Already recommended them

It was pretty much effortless for us. They brought samples, measured, and laid 1,500 square feet of carpet. They're an A.

Without a doubt, solid wood flooring is an excellent way to add beauty and style to any room. Hardwood flooring adds a spacious feel and compliments furnishings. With the types of wood and finishes available, a wood floor can be put in virtually any room in your house--even kitchens, baths, and utility rooms.

  • A traditional solid wood offers the widest range of wood species, unlimited custom color possibilities, varying widths and design patterns—with the option of choosing a polyurethane or wax finish.

  • Offers the widest range of choices in wood selection and the ability to have the floors re-sanded many times if desired.

  • Finish is applied in your home, giving you unlimited custom color possibilities, as well as the ability to choose the type of shine you prefer—gloss, semi-gloss, satin, or matte.

  • Every floor is completely unique – no 2 trees are the same!

  • Generally used in new construction.

  • Offered in a multitude of species, styles and colors.

  • Often used:

    • In a home’s 2nd or 3rd floor

    • In a remodeling situation / add on projects

Prefinished
Solid Hardwood Flooring
  • Most, but not all, engineered products are prefinished at the factory.

  • Multi-directional, layered product made of multiple plies of high-quality plywood wood - top wear layer is an actual but thin slice of hardwood of the wood species of choice.

    • Looks just like Solid Hardwood Flooring upon installation – though usually less expensive and more durable (aluminum oxide factory finish).

  • Can be stapled, glued, or floated

  • Often used:

    • On 2nd or 3rd floor

    • In remodeling situations

    • In rooms with changing humidity and/or temperature (more dimensionally stable than Solid Hardwood Flooring)

    • To replace carpeting; match height of adjoining floor; to accommodate space under appliances (slightly thinner than most Solid Hardwood)
